Scholar Athlete Milk Mustache of the Year (SAMMY) Award – This is one of the more unusual easy scholarships to apply for. The award is provided by the Body By Milk website which is part of the National Milk Mustache “got milk?” campaign designed to teach the public about the benefits of drinking milk. The scholarship award they are offering is very generous. Twenty-five students will win $7,500 scholarship, a trip to Disneyland, and a chance to start in a Milk Moustache ad. The National Association of Van Valkenburg Family – The last of the easy scholarships to apply for, this one is family specific. In order to qualify, you must be a descendent of the Van Valkenburg family. Applicants will need to submit an essay on a topic that varies from year to year. The scholarship prize is $1,000. So not only do you get to meet other members of your extended family but they will help you pay for school as well.
